Gatan 3View serial block face systems use special specimen pins. 3view specimen pins are offered with two sizes of flat surface area:
- Standard Ø1.4mm flat
- Larger Ø2.4mm flat
3view compatible pins are Ø2mm pin, Ø3mm head with cone top and total height of 12.5mm. Manufactured from vacuum grade aluminium.

Gatan 3View specimen pin handling tweezers
EM-Tec 521.AM Gatan 3View stub handling tweezers are especially designed for handling Ø2mm 3View specimen pins. They are intended as side grippers for easy gripping and holding the pin to facilitate handling and storing the 3View pins.

EM-Tec PS28 storage box for Gatan 3View specimen pins
EM-Tec PS28 pin storage box has been developed to store 28 Gatan 3View specimen pins. Made from clear polystyrene with two hinges and snap-lock the pins are held by a custom high density closed cell NBR foam with holes. The high density foam is crumble resistant and elastic enough to allow repetitive loading and retrieving of the pins.
Outside dimensions are 120 x 84 x 36 mm.
