RMC ASH2 is a multi-axis manipulation tool designed to precisely position substrates for the collection of ribbons of serial sections for array tomography. Standard room temperature knives and jumbo diamond knives for larger substrates can be used with ASH2. It is specially designed to enable the pickup of long ribbons of serial sections. It quickly fits on to the knife stage of any RMC PowerTome alllowing the collection of sections on a choice of substrates such as glass slides, ITO coated coverslips and silicon wafers. Capable of handling hundreds of sections on one substrate it enables the transfer to the microscope for fast and efficient imaging.
An optional mount enables it to be used on Leica ultramicrotomes.
ASH2 can be used with a number of different diamond knives such as Histo Jumbo and Ultra Jumbo 35 degree or 45 degree.
We can also offer Silicon wafers and wafer cleaving pliers for the preparation of silicon substrates.
