Silicon nitride multi-frame arrays
Multi-frame arrays (MFA) comprise an outer silicon frame with a sub-array of individual silicon frames each with a central 0.50 x 0.50mm window supporting a SiN membrane. MFAs are well suited for conducting nanotechnology experiments across a large area under multiple microscopy platforms before selecting individual window frames for more detailed TEM studies.
Each MFA frame and sub-array is based on a 200µm silicon substrate containing various 0.5x0.5mm window arrays with a choice of SiN membrane thickness;
20, 30, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 and 500nm
- MFA1 comprises an outer 23.5mm x 23.5mm silicon frame containing a 7 x 7 array of TEM frames
- MFA2 comprises an outer 17.5mm x 17.5mm silicon frame containing a 5 x 5 array of TEM frames
- MFA3 comprises an outer 14.0mm x 14.0mm silicon frame, containing a 4 x 4 array of TEM frames
